Hi! My name is Whitney, and I am the owner and sole creator of The Toasty Flannel

My journey started back in 2015 with one of those DIY Pinterest articles and the naive notion that I’d make one or two custom signs for my own home and be done with it. But I quickly became obsessed with the look and feel of painting on wood. Soon my friends started requesting signs of their own. I’ve always been drawn to the more rustic and woodsy styles, so rustic wood signs soon became my signature style. I finally took the plunge and decided on a business name (which I still love to this day) and launched a little Etsy shop just waiting for that first order to come in.

I bought a used Dewalt scroll saw off craigslist in June 2020 and found that there is SO much more you can do with that beautiful little machine.

I'm so thankful that I’ve gotten to turn my passion into a real business that helps pay the bills, and I have all of my fantastic friends, family, and customers who have supported me along the way to thank.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased a sign, liked or shared one of my posts on social media, or even just reached out on social media for a chat. Every little thing has helped get me to where I am today and I am very excited to see what the future has in store for The Toasty Flannel.
